Beware of Dr Duc Vo / associate of Oueis Carling Dental: *Two appointments he asked me who I was, what am I doing there and what do I want / not just once but twice. When I tried to tell him that I was in pain for the past 30 days and that he has another failed implant he told me not to say anything to p**** him off as he was behind schedule. Beware of paying him in full before the work is completed as he will demand from you. He wanted to install two new implants to replace two failed ones at the very back, behind the failed ones but anyone could realize that they would cause the denture to break so I opted for just two implants instead of three. *The original verbal contract called for the option of a fourth implant for $1200 but that changed to $1800 plus any additional costs. The quote for total lower teeth extractions came to $900. He quoted $400 to install the abutment attachments in the denture which he later admitted that he does not do that type of work and transferred that payment of 4 hundred to the receipt for the extractions. He bragged about installing the abutment attachments in the denture and show me how to buy and install every six months the compression rings. * He gave an estimate of $6000 for a lower denture even though you could clearly hear a quote of $4000 on the phone. Fortunately, I had a previous quote for $1240 from a reputable denturist. He further claimed that the new abutment was 3 sixteenths lower than the other abutment was due to the bone height difference of the right and left jaw and not the height of the posts / abutments. The abutment is under investigation after spending additional $1330 for a rebase (reline by adding 3/16) acrylic and denture attachments. The work of extraction and titanium implant installations commenced in mid August 2017. For a full detailed account of my misfortune of dealing with Dr Duc Vo watch for it in the local news medias and BBB. Bob Scantland , Ottawa, ON
