PS

Peter Yune is unprofessional and totally irresponsible to the point of being a threat to patient health. It was only after my visit that I found Yune was suspended TWICE by College of Dentists (see below)! I went to have a detached dental implant re-attached. Before anaesthetic, Yune rapidly mumbled details of my condition and treatment as if talking to himself. I had to ask him to repeat and speak audibly. The receptionist entered as I was under anesthetic and biting down, unable to speak. Yet she asked me I would do a root canal on the same day, talking of many dollar values and how they would all add up to a certain number, but could be done at a discount here - deplorable hard sell on a weakened patient. Yet, Yune did not say one word about pain – how is one to know by symptoms if the operation had succeeded? But even 15 days afterward, I am still feeling acute, continuous pain. But it is what happened afterward that was more outrageous; after treatment, the receptionist forgot my prescription. Suspicious, I returned ten minutes later, when she prescribed amoxylin (antibiotics) as "painkillers.” So I thought the pain was natural. I still had acute pain five days after treatment, so I called in. The receptionist had no clue what had taken place. She said the pain will last about one or two weeks. When I called Yune three days after, he claimed there should have been no pain. When I asked him why there was pain, he responded carelessly that he didn’t know. When I pointedly asked why his receptionist didn’t know what took place, gave out antibiotics as “painkillers”, and lied about her knowledge of my condition, he replied that he was sorry and she sometimes makes mistakes.
