What I especially like about Dr H is her willingness to listen, and total lack of the pomposity and insularity that I have seen in some dentists downtown. I have seen a lot of dentists. Most of them are more interested in making money than providing a service. It's not so important what they learned in school, as how they have built on it by learning from clinical experience, sharing with other dentists and personal research. Dentistry has come a long way in 100 years, but it has lost its way and most dentists have drowned in technology and cosmetics, and become ignorant of huge advances in basics like microbiology. News flashes: Clindamycin is dead. Metronidazole is dead. Most bacteria cannot be cultured. Crowns leak - always. Mouthwashes should never have alcohol.
