Elizabeth P.

Although a proficient dentist, he's kept me waiting in the chair for over an hour on occasions while he's taken care of personal business... lunch, talking on the phone, forgetting a key to a device at home and having to go home, on my time, to get it then return to the office so we could proceed. That particular incident caused me to be unable to fulfill a committment and to miss a class which I'd already paid for. Did he compensate me for that? No! The straw that broke this camel's back is when I developed a head and chest cold the night before an appointment, had to cancel the morning of that afternoon appointment, and he was going to charge me a $500 cancellation fee! I've been a reliable, punctual, "paid my bills in full promptly" patient for two years up until then. I'd had many appointments with him and had spent a lot of money on his services. We had developed a treatment plan that would continue to put a lot of money into his coffers. I had never been advised of a cancellation policy before. Probably because he didn't have one, in writing that is. He just made it up. When I asked his receptionist to have him call me to discuss this he never called me back. I fired him as my dentist because that's not how one treats a customer. Can you say "Pot, kettle, black"?
