I went to this dental office about 2-3 times, and had very unpleasant experience, and I am extremely upset. The receptionist is extremely RUDE and ARROGANT. She does not bother telling you the detail of what you are being charged for. Not to say that all dentists are the same at that office because I only got to meet two dentists, who did not look very friendly to me either. I noticed, that the staff is just trying to get more patients in, to increase their sales, but they do not care much about patient safety and sterility of the equipment's that are being used to clean the teeth (i-e for scaling). They say they are giving you discount and favor by not charging services such as examination or X-ray fees, but indirectly they are charging you more for the scaling session. Safety comes first. And I believe it is not ethical to use dirty/used instruments on different patients just because they had a lot of patients. My relative did not know how to speak English, so the staff took advantage of her inability to understand English and treated her differently than any other patient. My relative got infection and allergic reaction after the cleaning, and they Doctor and the staff refused to take responsibility of that. The Doctor did not even prescribed any medication. So, I am never going to recommend anyone to their office. In-fact, I would recommend everyone to assure that when a hygienist come to see you, make sure he/she opens the sterile equipment package in-front of you. If you are ever in doubt, never feel shy to question. And do not forget to question them, for the fees that they are charging you. Always check with other offices, you may find a better Dentist somewhere else. A health care provider's responsibility is to ensure his/her patient's safety and comfort. I noticed that some of these rights were abused by that office.
