Dr. Safaaldin Hassan received his B.D.S degree for The University of Baghdad and received his D.D.S. degree from the Dalhousie University, Canada.
He worked in the Oral & Maxillo-facial Surgery Department in Victoria General Hospital, Halifax where he practiced on patients with severe facial trauma and head injuries.
He also has a Fellowship in Orthodontics from Texas, US, and Certification in Orthodontics from Boston, U.S.
Dr. Hassan is a member of the Academy of Orthodontics, U.S and Toronto Implant Club Association and The Canadian Dental Association, and The Ontario Dental Association and a member of The Royal College of Dentistry of Ontario.
He has has been practicing dentistry for 19 Years.
Dr Hassan currently maintains 2 practices one in Toronto and other in Mississauga, where he covers all aspects of dentistry including but not limiting all Oral Surgery, Bone grafting, Implants & Braces.

Wonderful dentist I come all the way from US to see him. He is very informative and honest. Works hard, cares about his patients. He fixed my Broken tooth and is doing my implants. I am surprised that someone would put any bad comment About him, below the same person obviously wrote both. Well u can't please everyone Dr Hassan! But we love you! You are the best!!!!!

terribly unprofessional. inconsiderate. This dentist has completely and utterly no respect of the patients needs or wishes. Speaks of everything under sun except teeth while working on my family. mixes up claims and or files. Does not complete his own records of work done or suggestion of needed work. When making a claim of damages to other party cant even prepair legal documents needed on time or complete. will complain of patients missing appointment when he is rarely on time himself or there when needed. Secretaries become rude when problems occur. Failure to return calls in prompt manner if at all. leaves practice with no warning and moves to one of his many offices. Then your files refused to be released by new dentist he leaves our files with.

worked in union chesswood dentistry. family became patients in 2012. He has left with no notice, leaving files to other dentist. My wife had accident on TTC soon after we began seeing him. examined her, was in a despute with TTC for her. Dr Hassans conclusion my wife has damage to front teeth needing temporary retainer, braces and ongoing treatment as teeth are now loose. Dr. Hassan never gave information when needed to the ttc claims department, later was inconclusive and contradictive. my wife now has broken retainer attatched to teeth, witch was to come off in 3 months now over a year. also broke 3 more times while dr Hassan was still at chesswood. claim has been denied. he had promised only to do work covered by union keep us posted so we did not go over. charged benefits for wrong patients mixed in our family. benefits were maxed with extra cleaning that were not covered and more. told us not to worry would fix mixups and I was wrong not maxed out. I have an unfinished rootcanal he began says already paid by union, I didn't feel comfortable returning to him with all mistakes. My family has been speaking with our old dentist who requested our files be mailed now finding out Dr. Hassan is gone. New dentist at chesswood has our files but wont release as we owe Dr Hassan. The whole time we were Dr. Hassans Patients we were not given any bill. Now that we switch there is. I called the office # of times no answer. left last dentist as they said cash only payment before they took insurance. I have found out they again taking insurance. family is six with four children. We need Dentist now and our files. When Dr Hassan worked with our family he never billed us, How can there now be a bill! So he up and left our family with much undo stress! Deffinatly very unprofessional!
