I have been to many dentists in the last few years and hadn't found a place I was happy to continue with until I was referred to Dr. Sayour. Not only is she gentle and speedy when performing procedures (quite a few cavities in my case), she took the time to explain to me exactly what was happening and how I could prevent it from happening in the future. She also managed to find the reason for some serious tooth pain a few dentists couldn't figure out and since seeing her I have been pain free! I have found my dentist!

The services are overpriced and patients are not given the option of opting out of exams their insurance doesn't cover in the initial exam, including a oral cancer screening where a light is shone in your mouth for approximately 60 seconds-costing $50. She found 10 areas of decay and my estimate for fillings was over $3000 on top of the $500 I paid for the initial exam and cleaning. You do get to watch T.V during procedures, however reception is not friendly. I won't be back to this clinic.

I'll tell you upfront that I used to dislike going to the Dentist. I don't like the poking, the pain and not being able to see what is going on. Dr. Sayour has completely transformed that experience for me! She asked many questions about my history and concerns. She gave me very thorough and detailed explanations of everything she was doing, and why she was doing it. When it came to treatments and challenges she saw with my teeth - she explained a multitude of options for every level of my budget and set proper expectations for time, financial investment and results. Her work has been flawless. (and I am hyper conscious of details!) Everything has always looked and felt great. She is all about the details and comfort. We have a wonderful patient/Doctor relationship because she is a conscientious communicator. She always makes eye contact and "checks-in" with you during every step of the procedure. She has this solid balance between technical knowledge and aesthetic awareness - and a great gift for making you feel like you are the only client in the world when you are in that chair. It is clear by her extreme professionalism and skill that she is HIGHLY experienced. I have been going to Dr. Sayour for 10 years and cannot foresee trusting anyone else to this degree. I know many of her clients feel the same way, and would follow her no matter where she practiced. It's rare to find someone who makes a sometimes unpleasant necessity of life, quite tolerable and even enjoyable!

My husband and I moved into the area and decided to try Crossroads, where we saw Dr. Sayour. After over a year worth of visits, we have stopped going there and here's why: - The facilities and equipment are very swank and chic, and even the staff seem to conform to the "pretty" aesthetic. But you pay for the privilege. No procedure was ever fully covered by either of my or my husband's plans (both good plans too!) and their fees seemed much higher than our previous dentists. - Speaking of plans, YOU PAY UPFRONT and then your plan sends you a cheque. They are NOT set up for automatic claims submission, probably because they need the money upfront and can't wait for insurers to pay them! - We both felt like they were "looking" for things to take care of/perform. At our first appt, they did a whole suite of fancy Xrays and didn't even perform the cleaning we wanted. Dr. Sayour also found lots of cavities to fill. They once did some special exam for mouth cancer that my insurer would not cover. Felt a bit money-grubbing. It was all the more annoying because their rates are so high and we had to pay quite a bit out of pocket. - Despite the high prices, the quality of care from Dr. Sayour was friendly, but the results were so-so. My fillings felt rough and my husband had to go back for a re-do on his. At my last appointment, she was late and I got a 30-second glance (you can guess the cost of that....) I felt the skill level was a little low but could be owing to inexperience, compared to my other dentist. - One of the receptionists (younger one) was always rather cold, compared to the friendly reception I would be accustomed to. When you have just put $600-$700 on your MC for two fillings, you deserve service with a smile! So to summarize, if you need swank digs, and a TV to watch, and aesthetically pleasing staff and surroundings, and are happy to pay, this could be the place for you. But if you prefer value, sincerity, and skill, look elsewhere!!

It's never easy for me to get into the dentist's chair, but Dr. Sayour has a way of putting nervous patients like me at ease. I find her extremely informative. She explains things to me in terms I understand, empowering me to make an informed decision about my dental health. Dr. Sayour is personable and trustworthy.
