I was Dr. Elahiyoun patient for 2 month. During a routine cleaning, Dr. Elahiyoun informed me that I had multiple cavities that needed to be filled, and that 2 of them needed to be crowned. I was kind of suspicious because I had not had any problem with my teeth for 2 years. So, I went to see another dentist who is actually a Professor at University for a second opinion; he informed me that I did not need even one filling. Note that Dr. Elahiyoun had told me that not only multiple teeth needed fillings, but 2 were severe enought to need crowns. It's amazing how immoral some of these dentists are who are ready to drill holes in multiple healthy teeth just so that they can charge the patient. On top of that for the 2 work that her office did on my teeth, they had overcharged me; my insurance explicitly lists prices for any work that dentists in their network do, and I had been charged about 50% extra that I forced them to return to me. And she is not even that knowledgeable. Just unbelievable.

I was doing a search on Dr. Elahiyoun and her husband who work in the same office. So, I decided to share the result of my search for the benefit of all the users. Her husband, doctor Edalati, not only has his license suspended in California, but has other issues with the law; it seems that the dental school he attended has not been a real dental school and has been closed, and there are other court judgments against him as well related to him owing $79,000 in student load to the government of the United States from 2009, and other stuff. I'm not really good at going through lengthy court documents. Just do a search for "Bahman Edalati Court", or search for "Bahman Edalati Dentist" on Google-without any quotes- and you will find all the court judgements and records of his license suspension. It goes without saying that I would never again be a patient at their office. Basically, they have escaped United States because they couldn't practice there, and somehow they have been allowed to continue their malpractice in Canada.
