I just started seeing this dentist and he has educated me on many things going on in my mouth that no other dentist has mentioned. He also performed a very thorough oral exam and used a Valscope as well to check for suspicious areas. I grind my teeth and he discussed what I should and shouldn't be doing and how I can improve things. The freezing that he gave me was done with excellent technique, not feeling it at all. I haven't taken my boys there yet, but will be taking the 3 of them there very soon as he is very gentle and while doing work in my mouth used many tools, or techniques that were comfortable compared to other dentists.
