Seems to do unnecessary work and gouges patients who do not have full dental coverage.

I had a skiing accident and fractured one of my front tooth on the weekend. I rushed back to Calgary and called emergencies and various dental offices from listings on the phone book and none of them would treat me, either being not open or appointments being full (even ones stating emergency services available). Dr. Schvimer was the only dentist I could find who offered to treat me even though he was not working that day so we both drove to meet at his clinic and he gave me some emergency treatment until the next business day (in the end I had to put a post and crown on the tooth). Ever since I have visited Dr. Schvimer for my dental care needs. From my experience he is very caring and very thorough with his work. He will not proceed to step 2 unless he is fully satisfied with his work of step 1. Although he doesn't like explaining or gets grumpy at times he is a very good dentist.
