A graduate of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Hermina Battaglin had been practicing for over 5 years in downtown Toronto before moving uptown to the Art of Smile Denistry.
During her years in practice, she has sought to further her skills by participating in many continuing education courses, focusing on implant and cosmetic dentistry. Other certifications include nitrous oxide sedation, zoom whitening.
Dr. Battaglin is very passionate about her profession, receiving great satisfaction from creating attractive, healthy smiles. She strongly believes that listening to patients is very important in order to develop a treatment plan based on each person’s needs whether it is a simple filling or a complex make-over. Her goal is to help patients keep their teeth in good health as long as possible through continuous care and quality restorations. Referrals from satisfied patients are extremely valuable as they demonstrate trust and value in the care she provides.
Dr. Battaglin is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, Ontario Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association. She is also a clinical instructor at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Battaglin will be providing you with a complete range of dental services in general family and cosmetic dentistry. She is comfortable treating all patients from the young to the young at heart.

This was my first visit to Dr. Battaglin , and for as enjoyable as a visit to a dentist could be, it was exceptional! I was very surprised and impressed with the personal concern on the client's comfort. I look forward to booking my next appointment. Honestly I am!

Dr. Battaglin and her staff are super friendly, in a genuine manner. Dr. Battaglin is an excellent dentist. I have been going to her practice for two years. She only recommends necessary treatment and is very knowledgeable and up to date on all the latest procedures and techniques. In addition her client facing staff is extremely helpful and create a relaxed pleasant experience.

I was referred to Dr. Battaglin by a friend, and I eagerly made the switch from my regular dentist who I had been going to for over 15 years, and I have never looked back! Dr. Battaglin is a highly skilled and compassionate doctor who carefully consults and addresses the issue prior to starting any work. I was impressed when she consulted various doctors I have been to before (an endodontist, my orthodontist, and another specialist). She took my old retainer, sent it to a lab and had it updated as she felt it wasn't performing as it should. My teeth are now straight without any crazy expenses and I am extremely happy and grateful!!! She genuinely cares about her patients, and the results speak for themselves. A nice plus? Go for a cleaning, and you may get a hand paraffin wax - what women doesn't like that?!! I actually look forward to my cleanings... now who really says that!?
